Terms and Conditions for Your Pet’s Stay at CuraDog Training
Welcome to CuraDog Training! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to care for your dog and provide them with a comfortable, safe, and enriching stay. Our goal is to ensure that every pet enjoys their time with us, and to achieve this, we’d like to inform you about some important aspects of our services and policies.
Â
1. Safety and Well-Being
At CuraDog Training, we strive to maintain spacious and secure facilities designed to prioritize the safety and well-being of all pets. However, as animals are constantly interacting and moving, there are inherent risks associated with their nature.
While we conduct regular inspections and continuous improvements, it’s important to understand that we cannot guarantee the complete absence of unforeseen incidents.Â
Â
2. Socialization, Supervision, and Natural Interactions
We believe that socialization is essential for a dog’s physical and emotional well-being. During their stay, your dog will have the opportunity to interact and play with other dogs. Minor bites, nibbles, or playful mouthing may occur during these interactions. This is natural behavior and, in many cases, essential for dogs to learn boundaries, communication, and social skills.
If you prefer your dog to have limited interaction or be kept separate from others, please inform us in advance. In such cases, your dog will remain separated from the group during their stay. Please note that our policy is to allow as many dogs as possible to be free and active so they can be happy, and isolation may limit your dog’s socialization and experience.
Our team conducts regular supervision to ensure the safety of all animals. However, there may be moments when continuous supervision is not possible. We are implementing monitoring systems to provide remote observation when staff are not physically present.
Â
3. Health and Veterinary Care
To protect the health of your pet and that of others, it is mandatory that all dogs are up to date with their medical requirements, including vaccinations, internal and external deworming, and the use of a parasite control product such as NexGard, Bravecto, or a similar product at least 2 weeks prior to their stay.
By leaving your pet with us, you confirm that they meet these health conditions. If your dog shows signs of any medical issue during their stay, we will contact you immediately to discuss the next steps.
In case of an emergency, we will take your pet to a trusted veterinarian for immediate care. All costs associated with veterinary care will be the sole responsibility of the owner.
Â
4. Personal Belongings
We understand that many owners like to bring their pet’s personal items such as beds, blankets, collars, or toys. However, in a shared environment, these items may be damaged, lost, or cause conflicts between dogs.
For this reason, CuraDog Training is not responsible for the loss or deterioration of personal belongings during your dog’s stay.
Â
5. Feeding and Routine
The owner is responsible for providing the dog’s food and all its necessities. If any of these items run out, the owner must be responsible for bringing more or providing us with the funds to purchase what the dog needs.
At our facility, dogs are fed once a day unless they have specific medical needs that require a different feeding schedule. If your dog requires a special diet, please inform us in advance so we can coordinate accordingly.
Please note that changes in feeding routines may impact some dogs, but we work to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Â
6. Additional Services
Our basic boarding service does not include walks outside the facility. If you would like your dog to enjoy additional walks, we offer this service for an extra fee. Please inquire about our options for adding personalized activities or services to your pet’s stay.
Â
7. Liability and Waiver
At CuraDog Training, we take every reasonable measure to ensure the safety, well-being, and health of the pets in our care. However, it is important to understand that certain situations are beyond our control, including:
- Accidents or injuries that may occur during play or interaction with other dogs.
- Illnesses, infections, or parasites that may arise despite our preventive efforts.
- Damage caused by the unpredictable or natural behavior of animals.
- Loss or damage of personal belongings.
- Situations resulting from weather conditions or other external factors.
By accepting these terms, the owner releases CuraDog Training from any financial or legal responsibility for unforeseen incidents, except in cases of proven negligence by our team.
Â
8. Communication and Transparency
We are committed to keeping you informed throughout your pet’s stay. If any relevant situation arises, we will contact you immediately to discuss any necessary actions. Our goal is to ensure that you feel confident and reassured while your dog is in our care.
Â
9. Payments, Changes, and Refund Policy
All payments made to CuraDog Training are strictly for the services provided by our facility (boarding, training, day care, walks, or related pet services).
Payments cannot be used for external or personal expenses, including but not limited to:
Airline tickets or travel arrangements
Relocation costs
Veterinary expenses outside our facility (unless previously agreed)
Personal logistics or third-party services
If the owner decides to shorten the stay, change plans, or leave the island/country earlier than expected, this does not obligate CuraDog Training to issue a refund, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Any remaining balance may:
Be applied to future CuraDog services, or
Be forfeited, depending on the circumstances and availability
Refunds, partial or full, are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of CuraDog Training.
Â
10. Owner Responsibility &
Legal Actions for Non-Compliance
To ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in our care, it is mandatory that owners provide accurate and complete information about themselves and their pets prior to their stay.
In the event that an owner fails to take responsibility for their dog during the stay (e.g., not picking up the dog, not paying for additional necessary services, or abandoning the pet), CuraDog Training reserves the right to:
Charge additional fees for non-compliance.
Take legal action as necessary to protect the dog and recover costs incurred for its care.
By accepting our services, owners acknowledge that these measures are necessary to ensure the safety and ongoing care of their pets and agree to comply with all financial and legal responsibilities associated with their stay.
