Natural Dog Food in CuraDog Training

At CuraDog Training we strive to learn more and more so that we can deliver a greater benefit to all our clients. This is why we always seek to innovate and offer the best possible for owners and pets. Today there is a huge problem facing humanity and humanity’s pets. Commercial food is too processed and manipulated, losing an exorbitant amount of benefits that healthy nutrition should give us. This is why, after doing an exhaustive search on what is the best option for your pets, we have started this project called CURA-BARF ALIMENTATION.

First step to a better life for your pet. Understanding what the BARF diet is

What is the BARF diet?

The BARF diet stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food. The idea is to feed pets a diet as close as possible to what their ancestors (wolves and wild cats) would eat in the wild, i.e. raw meat, bones, organ meats, and vegetables. The concept behind the diet is that dogs and cats’ digestive systems are designed to digest raw food, not ultra-processed foods like dry or canned food. With BARF, the goal is to provide them with a diet rich in fresh nutrients, without preservatives, chemicals, or fillers.

Why should I change my pet’s diet to a natural raw food?

The dog food industry has seen exponential growth due to pet owners seeking better nutrition for their dogs. However, this expansion has led to many companies selling low-quality products that can be harmful to dogs’ health.

Dry dog food lacks moisture, forcing dogs to drink excessive amounts of water. This can lead to chronic dehydration, kidney stones, and digestive disorders, as dogs’ kidneys are better suited for diets with higher water content.

A diet low in moisture and high in ultra-processed foods can lead to severe health issues in dogs, including obesity, diabetes, and kidney and liver diseases. These foods often contain artificial or unrecognizable ingredients due to extensive industrial processing.

B.A.R.F. feeding has a huge number of advantages. Here are some of them:

Their digestive system will thank you:

No carnivore or omnivore animal is prepared to eat a whole bowl of completely dry food (not even humans); imagine eating a bowl of cereal without milk! A natural diet keeps food moist which helps their digestive system.

More energy and vitality:

By providing fresh nutrients, pets have more energy and feel healthier.

Better dental health:

The teeth of our favorite pets are not made to eat grains, chew biscuits and eat processed things. That’s why chewing on raw food helps keep teeth clean and reduces tartar buildup.

Healthier skin and coat:

A diet rich in fresh nutrients helps improve coat quality and reduce allergies.

Goodbye to allergies!:

It has been proven by different scientific studies that allergies are formed by the excessive amount of proteins and grains in dry food and by the little variety of foods in it. BARF food prevents these allergies by keeping your dog’s immune system much more balanced as well as its hormones.

Far fewer visits to the vet:

Given the quality of a good natural diet, BARF food helps the dog’s body to better withstand any disease, be more resistant, healthy and therefore, be able to go years without having to visit a vet (Except for regular check-ups to make sure everything is fine)

Weight control:

The BARF diet offers such a wide variety that it can be easily adapted to each pet. It helps to easily maintain your dog’s weight as well as gain or lose weight if necessary.

Better muscle mass:

All dogs should naturally have an athletic body, with muscles and full of energy. It is not normal to see an overweight dog, nor for your dog to get tired after 30 minutes of starting a walk. BARF food regulates your dog’s weight, nutrition and overall health.
